Skills, Education, and Knowledge:
College or University degree/diploma in Social Services.Minimum 3 years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.Must meet agency training requirements. (Standard First Aid & Level C CPR & Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification) Understanding of behavior management techniques and accurate data collection either ABC chart or specific behavior data documentation.Knowledge of household management, personal banking, and budgeting.Valid Ontario driver’s license and insurable by the agency.Ability to communicate effectively, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a professional appearance.Should be creative, take initiative, and be resourceful.Must be a self-motivated and responsible person who is able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as be a team player and a role...
