Job Description
Take on a vital legal role with the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville as a Provincial Offences Prosecutor in Brockville, Ontario. This position calls for a dedication to justice and familiarity with the Provincial Offences Act.
As the Prosecutor, you will independently conduct prosecutions and manage early resolution meetings. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably in Provincial Offences, and demonstrate strong advocacy skills. Building effective communication with legal stakeholders is key for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate charges to confirm prosecution viability
• Attend and manage early resolution court matters
• Prepare and present legal cases in hearings
• Communicate with court participants professionally
• Maintain structured legal and prosecution documentation
Requirements:
• Valid licensed Paralegal status with the Law Society of Ontario
