FY27: Accounts Payable Team Leader, Department of Controller, 8 hrs/12 mos, Ad closes 7/14/26Job Specific Information:Under general supervision, leads the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team and oversees the employee reimbursement program. Coordinates the processing of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements, including travel, mileage, tuition, professional development, and other authorized expenses, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payments. Provides technical guidance to staff, schools, and departments; resolves complex payment and reimbursement issues; monitors workflow and internal controls; and ensures compliance with MCPS policies, applicable regulations, and auditing standards. Assists with system improvements, reporting, year-end activities, and special projects to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
