Piedmont Transplant Institute, a national leader in liver transplant quality, volumes, and patient experience, is seeking a full time Transplant Hepatologist to join our team. The individual will be one of 7 full-time hepatologists, along with 3 adjunct clinical hepatologists, and will be part of a true multidisciplinary transplant institute model of care.
Piedmont s liver transplant program is based in Atlanta, with transplant surgeons, transplant hepatologists, and transplant nephrologists working together with APPs, coordinators, pharmacists and staff in one of the largest U.S transplant programs. Piedmont performed over 600 solid organ transplants in 2024, including over 170 liver transplants, and operates the Lifelink Organ Recovery Center at Piedmont Atlanta. Our team is involved in significant liver transplant clinical research, and utilizes organ perfusion and NRP protocols to optimize organ acceptance and transplant outcomes.
