General Accountant

The General Accountant is responsible for managing the hotel’s financial records, ensuring compliance with Philippine taxation laws (BIR), and delivering accurate financial reports including Profit & Loss statements. This role requires strong analytical capability, hands‑on experience with hotel systems such as Sun System and Opera, and a deep understanding of hospitality finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and other financial reports.
• Present financial performance, variances, and insights to management.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision‑making and cost optimisation.

Accounting Operations

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure timely month‑end closing.
• Handle journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations of accounts.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all financial transactions.
