Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end and year end closing activities
- Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Oversee preparations for monthly reporting
- Supervise and guide GL team members
- Allocate tasks and monitor workload distribution
- Review team output for accuracy and completeness
- Provide coaching, training and performance feedback
- Drive team standardization, automation to improve productivity and efficiency and implement best practice across entities
- Enhance closing timelines
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP requirements and company policy
- Maintain strong internal controls
- Review and analyze financial results to identify and mitigate financial risks
