General Manager

A Carter Lumber General Manager is responsible for the overall operation management of multiple stores in a single market.  This is accomplished by following the direction set by the Market Manager or Market VP in the areas of foundation, inventory, sales and profit.  Complying with policies and procedures, monitoring key employees, controlling inventory purchases and levels, developing sales and communication are all components of this position.  Effective communication with the field, internal departments and external vendors is mandatory for the success of this position.   Requirements:
