About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated General Medicine Physician to join our service, working primarily on the general medical ward with participation in a rotating weekday roster within the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU). This role provides a balanced mix of inpatient ward-based care and acute medical assessment, offering exposure to a wide range of clinical presentations. The role will also include outpatient or acute assessment clinics. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care, while contributing to the efficient assessment, management and flow of patients through the AAU.
