Role and Facility Information

Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is a 158‑bed acute‑care facility located in the Okanagan Health Service Area, serving a population of approximately 90,000 people. The hospital offers 24‑hour emergency and trauma services, acute services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic/paramedical services. PRH serves as a secondary referral centre for the South Okanagan and Similkameen Valley and provides advanced imaging with on‑site CT and part‑time MRI, a seven‑bed ICU, and a referral base for hematology/transfusion medicine.
