General Practitioner - Casual Opportunity

The General Practitioner is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of high-quality primary healthcare services to immigration detainees within the detention centre. 

We are seeking a General Practitioner for approximately 5 hours per week, with flexibility across days and hours. We will discuss and approach that works for you. 

This position requires a strong foundation in general practice and primary healthcare, supported by specialised knowledge of the unique health needs that arise within the detention environment. The GP must be equipped to manage a wide range of complex presentations, including mental health conditions, substance use issues, and trauma-related health concerns whilst maintaining high quality and comprehensive medical records.
