General Surgeon: Breast & Thyroid Focus, Regional Role

The New Zealand Government is looking for a full-time Specialist General Surgeon based at Whakatāne Hospital. This role is a permanent position within the General Surgery team, providing both acute and planned surgical services to the Bay of Plenty population.

The ideal candidate will assist with teaching and mentoring junior surgical teams while participating in after-hours services. A special interest in breast and thyroid surgery is desirable.
