Assignment Length: Ongoing coverage need Start Date: August 31 Openings: 1 Reason for Coverage: Long-term permanent search Practice Setting: Inpatient and OR coverage Average 7 PPD with 1 admission and 1 case Practice includes 3 Surgeons Level III trauma center Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p No weekends or call required Patient Population: Adult (99%), Pediatrics (1%) EMR: EPIC Credentialing: 90 days Requirements: Active Washington licensure Board certification AHA BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 1-year General Surgery experience or equivalent Job Responsibilities (Generalized): Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
