Geographer (GIS Specialist)

Summary If selected you'll serve as a GIS Specialist providing a range of geospatial support as a member of the VS CEAH Geospatial Analytics, Products, and Services (GAPS) Unit. The position involves participating on a multi-disciplinary team to support animal health, animal disease outbreaks and mitigation, epidemiology investigations, risk identification & analyses, geospatial analyses and modeling, and cartographic/map production. Responsibilities The duties may include, but are not limited to: Participates in a multi-disciplinary team and is highly skilled in using GIS to support animal health, animal disease outbreaks, epidemiology investigations, geospatial risk analyses, geospatial modeling, and cartographic or map production. Configures, enhances, and maintains web maps and map applications to meet program requests.
