Job Purpose Statement
The GIS Officer is responsible for providing a professional GIS support function to DTPC and managing the GIS geo database and software’s.
Key Performance Areas
GIS Management
- Compare and contrast different commercial GIS software packages, data collection tools and motivate for the various procurement options to DTPC.
- Operate GIS system components including hardware, software and printers
- Act as a custodian of GIS and or GEO database, ensuring that it is properly utilised and any additional changes are implemented in a methodological and systematic way.
