The role – what you’ll do

Barr is seeking a geologist to join one of our Michigan offices. In this hybrid role, you will support the Assessment and Remediation business unit. Assignments may include working as an individual or as part of a project team to assist with performing or coordinating the completion of ASTM Phase I environmental site assessments in support of property transactions; helping to design, implement, and coordinate activities associated with Phase II investigations, including investigations of contaminated soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and vapor intrusion; interpreting data and developing site conceptual models; developing site management strategies and response action plans (RAPs), including conducting remediation technology evaluations and feasibility studies; estimating costs associated with these types of activities; completing contracting associated with these activities; assistance with the preparation of technical reports; and re...
