Job Description
Job Description of Senior Geologist
- i. Assist Project Manager (PM) to monitor the day-to-day works of Consultant and Contractor.
- ii. Assist PM to study the general suitability of the site proposed by the Consultant in terms of geological and geomorphological view point.
- iii. Review and report opinions regarding surface/ underground works, roads, bridge sites etc. proposed by the Consultant or planned by the Company.
- iv. Assist PM to determine ground hazards and carryout risk assessment for possible landslides and assist in studies involving general terrain and geological mapping (of surface and subsurface as required).
- v. Assist PM to collect, analyze and interpret project related geological data.
- vi. Use and analyze site information (such as radar images, aerial photographs, reports and geological maps) related to site investigations works submitted by the Consultant.
