Job Description
Join Stantec's Geospatial Services Group as a Survey Crew Chief in Edmonton, Alberta. In this full-time role, you'll oversee and perform essential surveying tasks in various challenging environments.
This position calls for an experienced surveyor with proficiency in GPS and Total Stations. You will handle multiple surveys, including construction and topographic projects, while managing relations with project stakeholders. Your ability to communicate effectively and solve problems in the field will be vital to success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and perform topographic and construction surveys
• Utilize laser scanning and unmanned systems as needed
• Document all survey findings meticulously
• Maintain communication with clients and project leaders
• Commit to Stantec’s health and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years field survey experience
• Technical degree or equivalent work experience
• Skilled with electromagnetic locating tools
