Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• The role is generally office based with requirements to conduct site inspections on and as needed.
• Provide geotechnical design input, assessments, and reviews to support and assist the design teams and projects including preparing a geotechnical interpretative report and geotechnical design report.
• Take charge of day-to-day geotechnical design works.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess site conditions.
• Review design assumptions and develop workable geotechnical design solutions.
• Liaise with the Senior Geotechnical Engineer and other team members to discuss technical matters/solutions on a regular basis and as needed.

Job Specifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering.
• A proven track record in geotechnical investigation, ground interpretation and the design of deep and shallow foundations, slopes, piles, retaining walls, ground improvement...
