Geotechnical Engineer

Coordinates the project from beginning to end - works with driller to assign drilling operations, selects and supervises laboratory testing, communicates with customers frequently about project status, writes the reports, and works with office staff for distribution of report.

Recommendations for low- and high-rise buildings, industrial buildings, bridges, retail centers, residential developments, and retaining walls. Slope stability analysis. Settlement analysis for high rise buildings. Lateral load analysis for pile foundations. Bearing capacity analysis for drilled piers, straight shafts and auger cast piles. Design of pavement structures. Phase I environmental study. Preliminary fault study. Inspection of foundation systems such as spread footings, auger cast piles, driven piles and straight shafts.
