Under general supervision, the Pediatric Hospice Clinical Social Worker provides supportive services to the neonatal, pediatric, & adolescent patient and their family/caregivers. Provides assistance in adjustment to illness and grief, addressing personal, financial and environmental difficulties, which occur with children with life-limiting illnesses.

This position is responsible for working with patients in multiple locations (Hunt Valley, Towson and Columbia) as well as home visits throughout the entire Gilchrist service area. The service area includes Harford county, Baltimore county, Baltimore city, Howard county, Carroll county and other surrounding counties. 

Education

Master's degree in Social Work from a university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
