Job Description
Girls PE Teacher – Fixed Term
Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a full‑time Girls PE Teacher for a secondary school in Tower Hamlets. The contract starts in September and is for one academic year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Promote healthy lifestyles and physical wellbeing.
- Assess and monitor student progress and encourage participation and achievement in a variety of sports and activities.
- Contribute to extracurricular sports activities and school competitions.
- Play an active role within the wider PE department and support the school community.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A relevant degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject.
