Job Description

Responsibilities

Design and produce cartographic mapping output and presentation materials in accordance to the NWMO-SC mapping standards.

Provide ESRI ArcGIS support by creating, editing and maintaining geospatial datasets and attribute data.

Support subject matter experts (SMEs) in analyzing and interpreting spatial and geoscience/environmental monitoring data relationships.

Review, evaluate, and quality assure geographical and environmental data and products from external contractors to ensure compliance with NWMO’s Quality Assurance. Protocols; diagnose and resolve data issues in collaboration with staff and contractors.

Maintain key base geospatial datasets using authoritative government and regulatory releases.

Support the ongoing refinement and improvement of GIS workflows, mapping services, and internal tracking tools to enhance efficiency and data consistency.
