GL Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end GL processes and service delivery within the GBS Finance Shared Services
• Lead the transition of accounting and finance activities from local finance teams
• Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing in line with established deadlines and procedures
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of financial data in compliance with Corporate Accounting Guidelines
• Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing development support to the team, including involvement in future hiring needs
• Lead, coach, and develop team members by setting clear objectives and ensuring high performance standards
• Conduct regular one-on-one sessions to provide feedback and support employee development
