An employer is looking for a hands-on Application Security Engineer / Platform Remediation Specialist to assess, stabilize, and secure an existing Globalscape environment that has been deprecated and is no longer actively maintained. This role is focused on cleanup, risk mitigation, and ensuring the platform meets current security and compliance standards—not on building new functionality. This person will Perform a comprehensive assessment of the current Globalscape (EFT) environment, identifying security vulnerabilities, outdated components, and configuration risks. They will remediate known vulnerabilities, including patching, configuration hardening, and eliminating unsupported or deprecated components. They will implement security best practices across the platform (e.g., access controls, encryption standards, audit logging, secure file transfer protocols).
