Job Description

Position Summary

Under the direction of the golf course superintendent, the incumbent performs one or more of the following types of work: golf course laborer and mowing crew. Most work will be on the mowing crew which could entail operating a riding lawnmower. There is opportunity to work through the remainder of the summer until the course closes for the season in the fall. Responsibilities Job Duty Function Maintaining the golf course by: Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Mowing and trimming grass using a riding lawn mower, weed-eater, and push mower).

  • Changing golf holes, raking sand traps, removing clippings, leaves and debris from golf course area.

  • Pruning trees and bushes using hand and power tools.

  • Weeding, shoveling and fertilizing.

  • Driving a vehicle to transport the clippings off the course.
