​ Government Affairs Policy Counsel/Advocate Position Summary:

• The Government Affairs Policy Counsel/Advocate will play a key role in developing and implementing Public Knowledge's government affairs strategy, through advocacy, strategy development, and relationship building in Congress, at Federal agencies, within the Executive Branch, and across the public interest field.

Position Status:

• Full-time Location: Washington, D.C.

Reports to:

• Director of Government Affairs Essential Duties: Assist in developing and implementing Public Knowledge's advocacy strategy and approach to Capitol Hill on various issues like broadband access and deployment, affordability, and universal service.


• There will also be opportunities to work on emerging issues like satellite and spectrum policy, as well as artificial intelligence.
