Main duties of the job

We have an exciting opportunity for a GP Assistant (GPA) to join our proactive care team with a primary focus on undertaking New Patient Health Checks. The post holder will support the delivery of high-quality patient care through a combination of clinical and administrative duties within their scope of practice.

Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, the GP Assistant will undertake comprehensive New Patient Health Checks, collecting baseline health information, reviewing medical history and medications, carrying out routine observations, and identifying current and future health and care needs.
