Graduate Nurse, Neuro PCU

Position Summary The Neuro PCU is a 32-bed unit. We care for patients with diagnoses such as stroke, seizure disorders, brain injury and tumors of the spine and brain. We also are home to the stroke nursing team, which responds when Stroke Alerts are called at Orlando Health ORMC or a peripheral site. We are an ideal fit for those who enjoy balancing motivating patients with helping them understand their limitations as well as those who want to pursue a higher level of care, such as Neuro ICU. Administers patient care in an area within a hospital or inpatient/observation setting, where acute care patients receive active treatment for injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or post intervention with assessment.
