Job Description

Contract: Full time

Machinist – Universal Grinder (Rotating Shifts)

We’re looking for a Universal Grinder to produce precision ceramic components using manual and N/C machines (Robbi NC, J&S 1300, Centreless Grinders). You’ll be required to work to tight tolerances in a self-inspection environment where accuracy and quality are critical.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:30
  • Shorter Day Every Friday!
  • £13.00 per hour
  • Rotating Shifts

    • Responsibilities

  • Experience in precision grinding (Universal and Centreless)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings
  • Ideally time-served or with equivalent manufacturing experience

    • Personal Qualities:

  • Reliable, organised, and deadline-focused
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to take initiative
