Duties & Responsibilities

A leader within the retail industry is looking for an experienced Group Financial Manager to join the team. This proudly South African company has been in existence for over half a century and has grown into a leader within the market.

The Successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Monthly management accounts
2. Analysing operations
3. Identifying opportunities for improvement
4. Cost reduction
5. Systems enhancement
6. Review and sign off journals
7. Implementation of internal controls
8. Prepare interdivisional reconciliation
9. General ledger reconciliations
10. Manage banking profiles and treasury functions
11. Prepare annual financial statements
12. Responsible for compilation and consolidation of budget templates
