Role Overview
We are recruiting a reliable and experienced Handyperson to support Kier Construction on a secure site at HMP Channing’s Wood. This is a temporary position requiring BPSS clearance and experience working within a controlled environment. You will carry out a range of maintenance, preparation, and temporary works to support ongoing construction activity.Pay Rates £ - £
Key Responsibilities

Concrete repairs — Filling holes and patching damaged areas.

Trade preparation — Preparing materials and areas for follow‑on trades.

Temporary carpentry — Installing temporary doors, formwork, and similar items.

General site support —pleting tasks as directed by site management.

Requirements

BPSS clearance (must bepleted prior to start or evidence of progress).

CSCS Card: Green or Blue (trade card preferred).

Experience: Minimum 2 years as a handy person.
