Position Description

A Hart Highlands School - 0.2 FTE - Gr. K-7 Music/Band prep - Continuing Contract Teacher is required by School District No. 57 (Prince George).

Applicants with assessment and trauma-informed practice experience are preferred. Those with the necessary qualifications and strong references will be given preference. Responsibilities

• Teach Grade K-7 Music and Band preparation as part of a continuing contract, at 0.2 FTE.
• Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies that accommodate the learning needs of all learners in an inclusive setting.
• Integrate local Indigenous culture and traditions into the curriculum (knowledge of First Nations Principles and the Principles of Truth and Reconciliation).
