Job Description
+ **Communicates truck/job status to dispatch. Drives truck to transport materials for construction projects in a safe, efficient and timely manner while observing haulage.**
+ **Loads and unloads equipment and materials as requested or required. Ensures that safety procedures are observed.**
+ **Performs walk-around pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operations of truck. Maintains appearance of truck, keeps proper air pressure in tires, and checks fluid levels including oil, hydraulic, coolant and fuel. Identifies safety problems or concerns and reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and areas where safety can be improved. Keeps a driver log for DOT.**
