Job Description
Job Title: Head Gardener & Handyman
Location: Örsundsbro, Sweden
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head Gardener & Handyman to manage the upkeep of a large private estate in Örsundsbro, Sweden. The property, located just 50 minutes from Stockholm and 25 minutes from Uppsala or Enköping, includes expansive gardens, woodlands, and multiple buildings.
This full‑time, permanent role includes managing a team of two gardeners and requires a diverse skill set in horticulture and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities – Gardening & Horticulture
- Shaping and trimming hedges
- Seasonal planting, deadheading, fertilising
- Lawn care, including mowing, edging and turf management
- Operation and upkeep of gardening machinery
- Tree maintenance: pruning and disease control
- Pest control (organic and synthetic methods)
- Irrigation system management
