Head of Business Development - Biotech Out-Licensing

We’re recruiting for an innovative biotechnology company seeking a US based Head of Business Development to lead global out-licensing strategy for biological and therapeutic assets.

This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates anywhere in the United States. The company’s corporate headquarters are in Maryland, and candidates aligned with Eastern Time Zone hours are strongly preferred to support executive collaboration and core business operations.

Important Requirement

This role requires direct, recent experience leading out-licensing transactions within a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company. Candidates must currently serve or have very recently served in a formal Business Development function within a biotech or pharma organization. Experience outside of biotech/pharma (CROs, medical device, healthcare services, or commercial sales roles) will not meet the requirements for this position.
