Job Description
Purpose of the Role
The Head of Compliance is responsible for ensuring Volvo Group Southern Africa complies with all legal, regulatory, internal policy and Code of Conduct requirements. The role supports management and employees, oversees reporting and notification obligations, identifies and manages compliance risks, leads the implementation of compliance policies, maintains effective compliance controls and promotes a strong speak‑up culture.
Job Objectives
- Identify and manage compliance risk in close cooperation with management and staff, ensuring a risk‑based approach.
- Expand the scope of compliance to include additional legal, regulatory and ethical areas as appropriate.
- Continuously monitor and review compliance procedures, identifying improvement opportunities.
