Head of Engineering

Overview

Own the engineering function end to end setting the technical direction, delivery standards, and team culture as the business scales. Lead and develop a cross‑functional engineering organisation responsible for building and evolving the core customer‑facing platform. Partner with the CEO, Product and broader leadership team to align engineering capacity and capability with commercial priorities. Define and embed engineering best practices across architecture, code quality, testing, security, and operational reliability. Drive hiring strategy and build out the engineering team, attracting and retaining strong talent as the company grows. Own key architectural and platform decisions, balancing long‑term scalability with the pace demands of a growth‑stage business. Create an environment where engineers do their best work with clear progression, strong feedback culture, and genuine investment in development.
