Key Responsibilities
Assist the Matron in the overall administration and management of the Nursing Department.
Supervise and monitor the daily activities of nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, infection control practices, and statutory guidelines.
Prepare and manage duty rosters, shift allocations, and leave schedules of nursing personnel.
Monitor patient care standards and address patient concerns related to nursing services.
Coordinate with consultants, medical officers, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Assist in recruitment, orientation, induction, and performance evaluation of nursing staff.
Identify training needs and facilitate continuous nursing education and professional development programs.
Ensure adequate availability and proper utilization of nursing supplies, equipment, and medications.
