Objectives of the Position
Building on established collaborations with Africa CDC and several grants recently awarded within consortia to strengthen African PPR ecosystem (EDCTP, Pandemic Fund, …), PANTHER is recruiting in Africa its Head of Pandemic Research Partnership.
The Head of Pandemic Research Partnerships (PRP) plays a leading role in establishing and coordinating PANTHER’s relationships, especially with public health institutions (e.g., Africa CDC teams, MoH, National Public Health Institutes-NPHIs, WHO, NGOs, networks, etc.). The position provides ongoing support during preparedness, response and inter-crises periods. This senior position is expected to contribute developing and sustaining a conducive environment for clinical research centres by connecting with relevant partners, fostering initiative that contribute to accelerating their preparation to face epidemic/pandemic crises.
