We are looking for a Kai Ararau – Health Promoter to provide education and support regarding Rheumatic Fever (RF) across the Te Ikaroa region (East Coast).

Rhematic Fever

RF is a complex condition that can have lifetime complications. In NZ the majority of first-time hospitalisations are school age Tamariki and Rangatahi between 4 – 19 years old disproportionally impacting Māori and Pasifika whanau. National data shows that in 2023/2024 period cases of RF increased. We want to change that.
