Health & Safety Advisor

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a specialist construction firm on the appointment of a Health & Safety Advisor .

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will work with the HSQE and Site teams to ensure all site personnel adhere to Safe Systems of Work, comply with relevant legislation, and follow established safety policies.

In your new role:

• Conduct regular risk evaluations
• Develop safe operational procedures that account for all relevant hazards
• Ensure all work practices are safe and in compliance with regulations
• Oversee safety inspections, report fire drills and fire alarms, manage risk assessments and lone working protocols, and ensure employees understand their responsibilities
• Conduct new employee inductions in the office
• Attend meetings as needed to report on health and safety issues
