JOB DETAILS

1) Maintain and apply knowledge of current health and safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes
2) Review plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to make sure that they meet safety requirements

3) Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment

4) Evaluate the effectiveness of various industrial control mechanisms

5) Ensure that buildings or products comply with health and safety regulations, especially after an inspection that required changes

6) Install safety devices on machinery or direct the installation of these devices

7) Review employee safety programs and recommend improvements
