Position Details
1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) fixed‑term position available in Ward B8, Waipapa Building at Christchurch Hospital. The role is rostered and rotating shifts Monday to Sunday – Morning, Afternoon and Night. The position is available until 8 February 2027 as replacement for parental leave.
About the Role
An integral part of the multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to use initiative.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care, including personal care
- Clean and tidy the ward / housekeeping
- Stock the ward with supplies
- Assist the nursing team with a variety of tasks on the ward
- Ensure that patients have the best experience possible
- Prioritise patient safety at all times
