Site: Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital – permanent, part‑time (24 hours per week, pro‑rata £25,545). The role includes evening and weekend work.

Position Overview

Healthcare Assistants in theatre support the team in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring a positive experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving patients in and out of the operating theatre.
• Help with theatre preparation and set‑up.
• Provide family reassurance and support.
• Carry out routine administration tasks.
• Work flexibly to support the theatre team.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Strong communication skills and empathy.
• Flexible approach to duties and hours.
