Heavy Equipment Mechanic Bowling Green, VA

Pay: $35.15/hour ($30.22 base + $4.93/hour H&W Cash in Lieu, increases yearly)

What Youll Be Doing

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and rebuild military heavy equipment and vehicles

  • Inspect and operate equipment to pinpoint issues

  • Take apart and put back together machines using hoists, hand tools, and gauges

  • Replace engines, transmissions, and other subassemblies

  • Weld broken parts and structural components

  • Test overhauled equipment to make sure it runs efficiently
