**Responsibilities**

+ Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling heavy military equipment, with a focus on combat systems such as engineer equipment, including trucks, bulldozers, power shovels, graders, loaders, and other heavy machinery used in construction and combat support operations.
+ The role requires specialized knowledge of hull and turret operations, plus general heavy equipment maintenance. Perform field-level and sustained maintenance on engines, transmissions, drive trains, hydraulic systems, brakes, fuel systems, and electrical components. Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose defects, dismantle/reassemble using hoists and hand tools, and replace defective engines, transmissions, and subassemblies.
