Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment including:
Dozers (maintaining dumps, road building and roughing in expansions, reclamation work)Motor graders (finish blade work, drainage control, road maintenance)Front-end loaders (ore / waste loading, stockpiling, coordinating with haul trucks to maintain a high rate of production)Haul and Water trucks and other support equipment as needed
Cut and maintain haul roads to proper grade and slope specifications.
Perform precision finish blade work for road surfaces, pads, and drainage systems.
Build and maintain safe access roads, ramps, and working benches.
Shape slopes and manage water flow to prevent erosion and maintain road integrity.
Conduct daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections.
Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns.
