Job Description
Wajax seeks a Heavy Equipment Technician with a Red Seal Journeyman certification to deliver exceptional service and technical expertise. This role involves on-site and shop repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance of heavy equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and repairing equipment, transmissions, and engines, as well as maintaining strong customer relationships. This position requires effective communication about servicing needs and the completion of service records. The ideal technician will bring 2-3 years of relevant experience and a commitment to safety and ongoing training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment components
• Communicate with customers for service approvals
• Perform repairs on-site and in the shop
• Recondition engine and hydraulic components
• Complete necessary documentation and service paperwork
