Serves as a journeyman level mechanic in the Heavy Equipment Division, responsible for performing field level and below depot sustainment maintenance and the Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) on wheeled and track military tactical vehicles. Performs progressively more complex and independent work as knowledge and skill level increases. May be assigned as a member of a Maintenance Support Team (MST) performing duties away from the assigned work area, usually in a Temporary Duty (TDY) status.
