Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC, Position Description Number D2431000 and D2431000B and is part of the KS 190 Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. Responsibilities As a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC WG-5803-08/10, you will repair, adjust, overhaul, perform major repairs, and maintenance on military and commercial designed heavy mobile equipment and special purpose vehicles. Perform initial and in-process inspections, minor body work, and conduct mechanical diagnostics to localize defects and determine causes of malfunction. Conduct preventive maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, and minor part replacements, to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
